A number is a run of ink.
A 3 means three inked squares stuck together. Two numbers on one line are two separate blocks, with at least one empty square between them.

Ink paints. Mark is an X.
Tap Ink, then tap a square to paint it. Tap Mark, then tap a square you know stays empty. Tap the same square again to undo that mark.

Gold numbers mean that line is done.
When a row or column matches its numbers, the clue turns gold. Leave it. Finish every line and the picture is the plate.
