Plates

The numbers are a recipe. A 5 means five inked squares in a row. Watch the plus fill in, then do the same on the press.

The middle row says 5. The plate is 5 wide, so that row is all ink.

Rules

How the press reads

You are filling a picture from the numbers on the edge. Those numbers are not a score. They are block sizes.

  1. A number is a run of ink. A 3 means three inked squares stuck together. Two numbers on one line are two separate blocks, with at least one empty square between them.
  2. Ink paints. Mark is an X. Tap Ink, then tap a square to paint it. Tap Mark, then tap a square you know stays empty. Tap the same square again to undo that mark.
  3. Gold numbers mean that line is done. When a row or column matches its numbers, the clue turns gold. Leave it. Finish every line and the picture is the plate.

Plate 1 is a plus. Start with the middle row — it is a 5 on a 5-wide plate, so you ink the whole row. Progress writes to plates:v1. The match-3 on this hub is Vcrush.

Cleared plates stay cleared. The next one unlocks when the last one is inked.

The numbers are a recipe. Ink the blocks they ask for.

Play Plates in the browser

This page is the game. You do not install a client. Each number is a block of inked squares. Ink paints. Mark stamps an X. Fifteen plates. No shop. No cash-out.

Progress stays in this browser under plates:v1. The other original games are Fort Pop, Vcrush, and Pocket Switchyard. All four live on the games hub.
