A complete rail puzzle in one browser tab

Pocket Switchyard is a rail-rotation logic game. Each square holds a fixed piece of track. Tap or press Enter to turn it clockwise. A route is ready only when every rail end meets its neighbour, no rail points outside the yard, and the entire network reaches the red depot.

What makes a route complete?

Connection is checked across the whole board, not against a hidden move list. Curves, straights, junctions, stations, and the depot all obey the same rule. When the network is valid, the Dispatch button sends an inspection train through every square and back home.

Does the game save progress?

Yes. Cleared routes, best stars, best turns, and the sound setting stay in this browser under pocket-switchyard:v1. There is no account, purchase, or cash value. Read the site privacy page for advertising and storage details.

Connect first. Dispatch second.

  1. Tap a rail square to rotate it clockwise. Keyboard players can use the arrow keys, then Space or Enter.
  2. Match every open rail end to the square beside it. No rail may point beyond the edge of the yard.
  3. Every square must form one network connected to the red depot. Numbered markers are stations.
  4. Undo and restart are unlimited. A hint points to one square without turning it for you.
  5. When the signal clears, dispatch the train. Fewer turns earn more stars.
