Match-3 belongs in a tab
Most people who type “match 3” into a phone are sent to a store card: a 200-megabyte client, a login wall, and a shop for extra lives. The genre itself does not need that. A swap is two tiles and a short cascade. That work fits in a page.
Play in Phone’s live match-3, Vcrush, is built that way. The tray is eight squares by eight. You swap two sweets that share an edge. Three in a line clear. Four cut a striped sweet that fires across the line you just made. An L or a T wraps a sweet that blows a three-by-three hole twice. Five in a line makes a humbug that eats a whole flavour.
On a phone you can drag a sweet onto its neighbour, or tap one and then tap the next. The how-to pane inside the game spells the jelly frog (he sits in the tray, eats his own flavour, then hops). The standalone Vcrush how-to repeats that in crawlable HTML so you do not have to open the canvas first.
A tab match-3 will not replace a live-ops app that wants you every day. It will let you finish a level on a bus without granting install permissions. Progress writes to this browser only under vcrush:v1. Clearing site data deletes the ledger. There is one game here and it is the one you came for.
What we will not do
We will not iframe a folder of licensed clones and call it a portal. Poki and CrazyGames already own that SERP. We will not wrap somebody else’s game in our ads, and we will not put a Play button on a screenshot. What is listed here is what is written here.
